I purchased just the frame and ended up attaching my own three-piece table to the top, and it has been a dream for my home studio setup. I also work from home, so I sit a lot, but at times when needing to stretch, I like to raise the desk and stand for a while. This desk also allows for easy wire management with its included wire rack, but also raising up in the air giving me room to sit underneath while running wires is a game changer for my back and neck! The face that you can program up to four height settings to automatically go to is great. I have one for sitting, one for standing, and one a little higher for when I'm on the walking treadmill. I really wish I had gotten this a long time ago when I was searching for the perfect desk. Well, I think I found it!
I'm loving my new desk. I'm very surprised at how sturdy and heavy the desk is -it's going to last a long, long time. The installation was surprisingly easy. I'm getting used to new options of standing vs. sitting, preferring standing, and with the wheels, I'm able to move and work in different locations - this desk is changing the way I work. This standing desk is amazing. Not only does it handle my 3-monitor system with a heavy metal base, I can support my bad back by using my forearms to support my weight when standing with ease. The design is elegant allowing me to hide all of the cables (see images). It was easy to assemble and super quiet when raising/lowering the tabletop to precise heights. I can't believe I waited so long to get one of these. I can feel a material difference in my back. The desk is made from quality materials and excellent engineering design. Now, if it lasts as long as my previous workstation, this will have been the deal of a lifetime.
Pretty sturdy for as big as it is. I got the 5’ wide one. I’m 6’2” tall and keep it at about 45”. Hardly wobbles at all. Very smooth action. Doesn’t talk back…which is nice.
